2007 Weekend Gallery
June 22-24, 2007 – The first informal Kansas BFL gathering was held. Attendees included Kansas girls Mary Wade (with Ron), Colleen Hardy,
Patty Stanfield, Elizabeth Coutu (with Kevin) and Pam Brill (with Grillmaster Dave) as well as Mike Harris from Michigan, Tony and Jean Malone from Chicago,
Larry Cannon from Korea on his way to Germany, Carrie Bartsch from Canada, Suz Idhe from Kansas City, MO and Chris Cary from Wisconsin.
Friday night started with a group dinner followed by a fun night of bowling. Saturday we gathered for a field trip to Penzey's Spice shop in Overland Park,
then headed up to the Legends shopping & entertainment district. Following dinner, we saw Dave Coulier at the Comedy Club and enjoyed a beautiful summer
night at the Legends. Sunday everybody gathered at Pam's for a barbeque—complete with some of Mary Wade's BFL-approved concoctions and elk meat courtesy
of Tony Malone!
What a surprise when we learned that the Homer Van Damme had made a personalized video for all of us to see! We laughed, shared and and came together
as a true family. We started out as strangers and left as friends. Won't you join us this year??
